چکیده
In this work, the dynamics of the primary and the Johari-Goldstein (JG) processes are studied with dielectric spectroscopy. We found the relaxations at glass transition temperature in polyphenylglycidylether and diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A to be strongly correlated over a wide temperature T and pressure P range. Analysing the temperature and pressure behaviour of the and (JG) -processes, a clear correlation has been found between the structural relaxation time, the Johari-Goldstein relaxation time and the dispersion of the structural relaxation.

The dynamics of the fragile glass-forming liquid diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A was studied by depolarized Rayleigh-Brillouin light-scattering and photon correlation spectroscopy above the glass transition, in the temperature range from 261 to 473 K and in the frequency range from 1 Hz to 300 GHz. The structural (alpha-) relaxation process was revealed and no signature of the secondary relaxat...

Varnishes used for the inner coatings of food cans are often based on epoxy resins or vinylic organosols. The epoxy resins can be produced from bisphenol A (BPA) and bisphenol F (BPF), and these also contain bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE) or bisphenol F diglycidyl ether (BFDGE) as stabilising components. These compounds may break down during storage and also by the influence of food simul...
